Snow Slam 09

Happy New Year!!

Yes it have been almost a year since I last posted to this blog but I promised my self that would change this year so here I am!

The next event for teens in the DRG will be Snow Slam 09 and the details are below...

SnowSlam , the annual sking and snowboarding weekend, is kicking it up a notch this year by inviting not one but two national recording Christian rock bands to join us for the weekend. A Rotterdam November and philmont will be joining us at the camp and on the slopes. these two groups will rock the Camp for two concerts and join us for our Monday morning worship service. this is your chance to get up close and personal with the bands!

This event is limited to the first 65 registrations!!!

When: President’s day weekend February 14^th- 16^th

Where: Bishop Stoney Camp and conference Center &

Ski Santa Fe Skiing and Boarding area

Who: junior, mid and high school students - Grades 6 through 12

tentetive schedule:

Saturday: Registration starting at 12:00pm followed by indoor and outdoor games, Bible study, Dinner and a concert featuring national recording artists “A Rotterdam November” and “Philmont”.

Sunday: breakfast, trip to ski Santa fe for full day of fun and snow, dinner, bible studies and another concert!

Monday: Breakfast, worship service, closing stuff and going home.

Ticket sales are limited to the first 65 registrations.

General charges	Lodging for two nights, all meals and snacks, transportation to and from Ski Santa Fe and two private concerts (no charge for chaperones)		$90.00
Skiing/snowboarding packages and prices
	Never ever skiing lesson includes rental & lift ticket	$64.00
	Never ever snowboarding lesson includes rental & lift ticket	$72.00
	Teen lift ticket only	$39.00
	Skies, boots and pole rental	$19.00
	Snowboard and boots rental	$30.00
	Adult lift ticket (18+)	$50.00
		subtotal
	Less deposit $25.00
		total

Add your skiing/snowboard prices to the general charges and total at the bottom. The $25.00 deposit will hold your spot. If you send in a check, please make it payable to: Diocese of the Rio Grande, memo line: SnowSlam 09
